Built For One - My PUMA T7 Jacket has arrived!
A little over a month ago I took part in Puma’s Creative Factory in Dubai. I had a chance to design my very own PUMA T7 jacket and meet the regions most creative thinkers. It was heaps of fun and a great experience!

Inspiration
My T7 jacket is composed of three deconstructed construction worker overalls. (Yes, that was a mouthful). I noticed a lot of colour-blocking while out and about Doha - on teens, worn in business wear, at the beach, and even at construction sites! The overalls come in blue, orange and yellow. I bought all three colours since I couldn’t decide which ones to choose!
I photographed this green fence at a construction site too and it was covered in splats of paint, cement or muck. I though it would make a beautiful print on fabric. So I did the same effect on mine with bleach splattered on the back. I also took the reflectors off the overalls, cut out triangles and placed them on the shoulders. It’s kind of a cross between Margiela and the Power Rangers, haha!

Thank you PUMA for inviting me to the Creative Factory! If any of you gets a chance to take part, you certainly must!
